"I am the screeching fingernail on the chalkboard of justice. I am the sour ball in the candy jar of goodness. I am NEGADUCK!"
He's the exact opposite of DD in every way... evil, nefarious, dedicated to stealing lollipops from kids and not helping grandmas across the street! And now, he's ready to begin a reign of crime and terror the likes of which St. Canard has never seen - except... dang it, all of the other villains are ripping off his ideas! What's a criminal mastermind to do when the city's thick with other criminals, stealing his shine? Why, take his villainy on the road, of course!

If youre a fan of Darkwing Ducks rogues gallery, then Negaduck #1 is definitely the comic for you! It features several sinister citizens of St. Canard and its a very funny story, as Negaduck seeks to compete with his fellow criminals. It also showcases Negaducks resourcefulness, despite many of his plans ending up being copied by others. He shows that he is a good parallel of Darkwing Duck. Just as Darkwings ego is big and he wants to be praised by the city, Negaducks ego is so big that he cant handle any criminals stealing his ideas. He wants to be sole villain for St. Canard to fear. What new surprises are in store next issue? And if not Darkwing, who will defeat Negaduck this time? Read Full Review
Negaduck #1 is a great first companion series to the current Darkwing Duck ongoing comic. It gives us another dip into the world which hasnt lost a step in the decades since the animated series ended. It also puts the focus on the villains who, beyond being thorns in the sides of our heroes, havent gotten this type of spotlight before. Its an exciting expansion to the series and hopefully the start of a lot more to come. Read Full Review

I'm a huge Darkwing Duck fan and this charming little story about greed and corruption with a hint of skullduggery is right up my street. Great character development and gorgeous art with eye popping colours was like watching my first cartoon a 1000 years ago. I loved it.
I was skeptical about the notion of a spin off book in the world of Darkwing, but if you're gonna do it, go for the equal and opposite of the original. Negaduck features Drake Mallards archnemesis as he tries to restake his claim to #1 villain. The setup is pretty simple and lends itself to some solid gags and cameos, although shockingly DW himself doesn't appear. However the ending teases that Negaduck will be going for people very close to him. Pretty entertaining read. And the art is really great too. We need a chainsaw!
