OverallAn absolutely fantastic penultimate issue, which pretty much sets things up for what will have to be one hell of a final issue that we'll get to read next month. I for one can't wait. I want it NOW! Read Full Review

    Major Spoilers - Ingrid Lind-Jahn Jan 2, 2019

It's all about the fight in Project Superpowers #5, so maybe not the best jumping on point, although there is enough information that you could figure out roughly what's going on even so. The action has been building to this point, and it's certainly setting up for a conclusion that looks to be exciting. Read Full Review

Another thrilling issue of Project Superpowers when issue #5 was all about putting the resolve of these heroes to the test against the might of P:andora. As a superhero story, we are set up to anticipate where it will be that these heroes rise to the occasion when it matters most. Everyone gets knocked down, but it is how you get back up that stands out more than anything else. Read Full Review

Sergio's art is nice and high-end. Ulises' colors are good without being obnoxious. Rob's writing has me but none of it will matter if the next issue is not killer in the conclusion of the 6-issue arc. Read Full Review

Shocking number that is prelude to the end of the saga started by P: Andora in his frantic search for the mysterious P: Andora box, Can our heroes end with the ambitious plans of P: Andora? It does not seem like an easy task since this enemy has many tricks in his magic hat. Read Full Review

Comic Crusaders - Johnny "The Machine" Hughes Jan 3, 2019

I have been enjoying this series from the outset; it seems that everyone can do a Justice Society style book, apart from DC, although that might change when the Doomsday Clock finally ticks it's last tock! In the meantime, Dynamite are certainly making hay with this excellent series, which concludes next month. Read Full Review

[[DISCLAIMER: THE WRITER OF THIS REVIEW ACKNOWLEDGES THAT 100 PERCENT OF COMIC BOOK ARTISTS DRAW BETTER THAN HE EVER COULD & THAT MOST COMIC BOOK WRITERS WRITE BETTER (COMIC BOOKS) THAN HE EVER COULD...so with that out of the way...]]

I am both upset that this series will end at #6 and also disappointed with the series itself, though that is not a slight against the creators at all. There is no accounting for taste.

I must say this was the best issue yet and I find myself finally warming up to this version of the same...just in time for the series to end!
