    Kabooooom - Matt Morrison Sep 23, 2015

This is a worthy ending to an excellent saga and what Simone and Geovani have accomplished with this series is truly revolutionary. This shall be the definitive Red Sonja run for generations of comic readers. It is an epic worthy of The Nemedian Chronicles. And I lament that we shall not see its like again. Read Full Review

The Fandom Post - Josh Begley Sep 23, 2015

When I reviewed issue 16, I thought that it was this creative team's final story, so 17 and 18 have been like bonus levels, or the whipped cream and cherry on top of a sundae. I do not envy whoever follows Simone and Geovani on this title, as they have redefined and revitalized this character. I hope whoever does follow to be as successful and just plain as good as this team, but it's very possible that I will drop this title if that's not the case. All I can say for certain is that if Simone and Geovani work together again, I'll be right there. Read Full Review

Red Sonja #18 marks the end of yet another story, and despite having only started in the issue before this, we still got a fitting ending, full of excitement. They also manage to give us subtle changes to the character, as although her personality is the same, her outlook certainly has changed. Read Full Review

    IGN - Jeff Lake Sep 24, 2015

As a finale issue #18 isn't quite the bow-on-top finish it aims to be, but as a celebratory ode to all things Sonja it hits damn close to the mark. Read Full Review

Bounding Into Comics - John F. Trent Sep 22, 2015

Geovani's artwork is done well and he uses two distinct styles to show off his talent, one a much rougher look compared to the other. He uses some nice panel layouts for the combat sequences that heighten the tension. Nevertheless, there are times you have to suspend your disbelief a little more than necessary to figure out how Sonja gets out of certain situations. Read Full Review
