Seventeen fairy tales are wonderfully adapted and illustrated in comics format by seventeen different cartoonists, including Raina Telgemeier ("Rapunzel"), Brett Helquist ("Rumpelstiltskin"), David Mazzucchelli ("Give Me the Shudders"), the Hernandez Brothers ("Hansel and Gretel" and "Snow White"), and more.

I've always been a huge fan of both Fairy Tales and their adaptations into different media. However I've learned the hard way that those responsible for the re-imagining matters a lot when it comes to how well they actually work. Editor Chris Duffy has assembled a truly spectacular array of talent for this volume, and I can only hope that future editions will follow. Read Full Review
