Comics: The Gathering - Olivier Roth Sep 19, 2018

So as you can see, I really liked this comic. Rarely do I go into a comic thinking I’ll give it a perfect score. With the pedigree of the creators on this title, I made an exception. It really had to screw up pretty badly for me not to give it a 10. And guess what? It didn’t. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Brandon Masters Nov 8, 2018

While the book isnt for everyone, Dick Tracy: Dead of Alive #1 seems to be a great start into a thrilling tale of suspense and explosions. If crime books are your thing, or if you cant get enough of characters like Judge Dredd being true to themselves and justice itself, then this is a book that you should really look into. At the very least, its great to see a hero being the unstoppable force for once. Read Full Review

Comics Bulletin - Daniel Gehen Sep 20, 2018

This new chapter in the history of Dick Tracy is off to a sound start. This is the type of comic Rich Tommaso was born to draw, and his work is only elevated by collaborating with one of the medium's all-time great creative families. The story itself, while pedestrian on its own, appears to be laying the groundwork for bigger things to come. Read Full Review

Geekery Magazine - Lucas Fashina Sep 20, 2018

So while Lee Allred has given us something that still captures the retro feel of Dick Tracy, it has definitely been updated for modern times with software hacking subplots, A smartwatch that allows for video conference, Bullet trains, burner phones, and an El Chapo type escape scenario, has me speculating on not only the background for the title but the future direction.
