Optimus Prime #12 represents a point for our cast of characters where their faith has been shaken. Maybe their leader isn't who they thought or wanted him to be. Right now with him being worlds away it's clear that his absence due to the siege on Cybertron is causing problems back on Earth. No matter where this goes from here it's just nice to already see the impacts of First Strike via this corner of the Hasbro line. Read Full Review

So, to conclude, this is pretty much your classic event aftermath issue. Perfectly serviceable in every way, with some interesting scenes and always-great art by Griffith, but it mostly just reads and feels like legwork. The stuff that gets you from the event to the next bit of actual story that the book wants to tell.
