When Morty needs to learn how to play D&D to keep up with the cool kids, his hard-drinking, old school-gaming, mad science-making grandpa is happy to teach him how to roll the dice, but neither of them is prepared for the saving throws they're about to fail or the true quest yet to come. Strap on a +1 longsword and grab your 10-foot pole, because this is going to be a gaming gauntlet like no other!
The world's greatest role-playing game.
Reality's most dysfunctional family.
What could go wrong?

Oct 03, 2019If you've never read a Rick and Morty comic I highly recommend getting in on Rick And Morty Vs. Dungeons & Dragons #1, and encourage you to read the prior box set. It captures every ounce of essence from the show. It pays homage in an honest way to the Dnd routes, without sacrificing on the comedic nature of Rick And Morty. Read Full Review

Aug 29, 2018Rick and Morty vs. Dungeons & Dragons #1 is a high energy, hilarious and cleverly written concoction. It is a strong recommendation for fans of high quality comedy and a must read for any Dungeons & Dragons fans or players. Or in the words so eloquently captured by Morty, "Dungeons & Dragons B*****s!". Read Full Review

Sep 08, 2018When Morty meets attractive teen girls discussing Dungeons & Dragons (seriously, where were these girls when I was in high school?!) he fakes a knowledge of the game and pleads desperately with Rick to teach him everything he needs to know. This begins with a crass course in the tabletop role-playing game before evolving into the pair jumping into a more real-life example dressed and armed as their characters. Maybe it's just the cynic in me, but I'm not seeing this end well for Morty and his chances with the ladies. For fans. Read Full Review

Ooodles of fun, from creators that are clearly familiar with classic D&D and not just 5e podcasts, though they directly reference at least three of those as well.
