In all, issue one has me wanting to go back and rewatch episodes of Star Trek from all the different series to prep for the ensuing conflict. The art by David Messina is great. The character renderings are well done, but Messina does a great job of capturing the look and feel of Star Trek in the background details and designs. I can't wait to see how the art evolves once the story really gets going. Read Full Review
The issue's story is good but the art falls a bit short in making it truly exciting. There's a lot of potential here and the start of a story that could be rather exciting and be a story that fits right into the Star Trek cannon.
