Word Of The Nerd - Brent Jackson Feb 12, 2019

TMNT #91 brings a lot of things in the TMNT universe to a head and also sets a lot more things in motion. The story just flows seamlessly together and the creative team is firing on all cylinders for this issue. This just has me completely and utterly excited to see what comes next! It is one of those issues that makes you wish next month would hurry up and get here. Read Full Review

    ComicBook.com - Jamie Lovett Feb 13, 2019

The issue impresses by delivering solid character interactions that work in and of themselves, but also reminding fans of how far these characters have come over the years - especially how all their lives were changed by the "City Fall" story and the milestone issue #50, which helps build anticipation as the series marches towards the "City at War" arc issue #100, a story that seems increasingly likely to revisit certain choices and fallout from "City Fall." This is a great character driven story that develops Karai as a character. It also adds in plenty of drama to the Foot Clan. Read Full Review

The anticipation is definitely being ratcheted up here, and the sheer consistency of IDWs ongoing TMNT series, even in the down issues, continues to be its greatest strength. Read Full Review

    I Review Comics Mar 21, 2019

I wanna say that this issue was great but it honestly feels like a continuation of the last issue and in that there's not a lot of surprises. Karai and her crew interact with our heroes and get more of the character development that the series is known for.

Nothing here is bad I just wish there was more forward momentum and the comic is ultimately skippable. The scene in the issue with Agent Bishop and Metalhead should have been folded into the last issue and the rest of the issue just feels like filler.

If you've read the TMNT Macro-Series even the cliffhanger is something you saw coming. The only thing that got a chuckle out of me was confirmation that Daredevil is Michelangelo's favorite superhero. If you're a more

    this issue was alright.
    i found it mildly entertaining.

all of the plots with Karai, The Foot Clan, The Pantheon and The Dragon Lord have gone on for so long i vaguely even remember them.
i can’t even recall what issues those plot were brought up to go back and refresh.
guess i'm just losing my investment in the story the longer it drags on.

deep down i keep hoping for this series to end at 100, and try to go out on a high note.
