Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Casey & April #4

This comic was a fun read to casual readers, while also a must read for those who are following the main series and like to know how everything falls into place. It's something I would recommend if someone asked me to what's one of the few TMNT comics I should check out. Read Full Review

This issue is a great addition to the series. The exposition has just hit its limit, and next issue should be time for us to see what the war between immortal and mortal will hold. Unfortunately, this has been the weakest of the side stories. Fans should only buy this if they want to keep up with the storyline. Now, some may find the focus on April and Casey cute or interesting, if so, by all means, pick this series up. Considering this is the last issue, it may be a good idea to wait for the trade though. Really the only positive I can take is that this story is now over and we can fully concentrate on TMNT #50, which promises to be an altogether more exciting affair. Read Full Review

the writing for IDW's TMNT has been some of the most real dialog i've read between characters in any comic series. the relations are perfectly depicted, and you really care about the characters. this arc is building towards something big in the ongoing series, i wish things weren't so cryptic. but i am very interested to see how things unfold in the future with the main series.
