It's TRUE, had to re read issue 4 to remind me. Still thought was good, art helped a lot.
The epic conclusion to Oroku Saki's journey into hell! Caught between the push and pull of eldritch deities, the Shredder fights for his soul-will he ever be able to return to the one he loves? Or will the universe stand in his way?
Mateus Santolouco's triumphant return to the TMNT universe concludes!
The truth of the Shredder revealed!
I have always loved Mateus Santolouco as an artist, but he has surprised me as quite a capable writer in this mini-series. He has taken us on a few twists and turns, while making Oroku Saki into a completely new and nuanced character. I love the ending that happens in TMNT: Shredder in Hell #5. I want to spoil it and talk about it so bad! If you are not hyped for TMNT #100 (you know I am), then this will definitely have you awaiting the monumental issue. Read Full Review
So beautiful... Major props. I love The Shredder and I love this comic. 10/10.
Amazing art, good series overall. But disappointed w ending but kinda expected. Hope 4 different ending. But this a series that has made me love the character the shredder more, my fav villain as a kid. Instead of a villain that seen as a cliqued power hungry thug, he is a villain with conflicting emotions fighting for his own free will but alas cannot deny his destiny. Solid series overall storywise. On a side note Bought multiple variants of each issue 4 the art alone.
The delay was too long. I'd completely lost track of the story, so this entire issue was one big "huh?" for me.
The art was incredible though. Major props for that.
if this issue wasn't so delayed, i'd have been more enthusiastic.
yes. i know that this series was going to be a big set-up for IDW TMNT #100, but i would have hoped for more resolution for this mini. i would have liked more questions answered, rather than just asking more. the art was beautiful, but some of the pages and panels were much too busy. it was distracting and hard to read.
IDW has never been very clear as to the distinction of Oroku Saki, Takeshi Tatsuo and The Dragon Lord. they are one in th same spirit, yet have their own unique identities, that have conflict with one another. But back when Hamato Yoshi and his sons were reincarnated, they are just the same identities and personalities that they were in t more
