Overall, the books flaws are only minor ones. The hilarious character moments that take Tom Waltz, Bob Curnow, and Kevin Eastman are able to produce are definite highlights. Dave Wachter also is able to supply the pencils to help realize the script and those funny scenes. If you're able to get past a few conflicting shifts in tone, then you will definitely enjoy the hell out of this book. Read Full Review
This arc of the continuing story is a comfortable and interesting rendering of the famous heroes in a story with the right blend of humor and action sure to satisfy both newcomers and long time fans. Read Full Review
TMNT #82 is not my favorite issue of this series but it is far from the worst. I am not big on the Pantheon gods, but I like what this issue sets up for further storylines. The art has a few hiccups, but if a story has to feature the Pantheon I like having Dave Wachter draw them. I am still not 100% certain what the Rat King is up to, but I guess he is not leading people to free candy or anything. Read Full Review
It definitely looks the business, but the story is clearly treading water a little here before this latest arc really kicks into high gear, and the tonal inconsistency makes it a slightly uneven read. Its still well worth a look though, and a thousand miles removed from the nonsense of the Triceraton Invasion. Read Full Review

this series is finally starting to pick up, and i hope it continues to improve.
while this issue is far from stellar, it was a mildly amusing read.
the Turtles are getting more focus, it's finally starting to feel like an actual Ninja Turtles book again. though this written for trade style is a bit of a let-down as not too much happens in this issue. it's a slow crawl to the finish.
there were some very amusing parts, the Turtle's humor was a delight.
just hope the series will continue it's focus on the 4 Turtle brothers and let them shine.
i'll really be happy once the Pantheon story is concluded. same goes for Bishop and the EPF.
i just find them boring and not all that interesting.

Sheez guys cool it on the build ups. Move your damn story forward. Tom Waltz doesn't get when to end the foreplay with this series... That said the ideas here are great even if they move at a snail's pace
