I don't feel as though the Transformers and Back to the Future characters are meshing as well as they could and are rather existing alongside one another, but Doc Brown's eccentric personality and the way he's portrayed visually and narratively in a bolder and more expressive way compared to others is enough to carry things until the chemistry picks up. So... the robot just scanned the Delorean's flux capacitor and can now time travel? Provided the reader suspend disbelief for this, isn't that a plot point ripe for abuse?
