This is an absolutely satisfying conclusion to this saga, with incredible action involving supernatural foes. The story is creepy, with Usagi out of his element, the visuals are frightening for the never ending wave of demon puppets, the colors are glorious even in this dark tale, and the text adds to the horrors and shocks of the visuals. Usagi Yojimbo seems as if it shouldn't work, but it is epic and heroic and wholly delightful as ever. As weird as the concept of a Ronin Rabbit might sound, this is one title definitely worth looking into. Read Full Review

Moving away from demon puppets, the next issue looks to take the rabbit ronin back to the role of bodyguard. Although, in Usagi's travels, when has any job or part of a journey gone as expected? Worth a look. Read Full Review
Satisfying conclusion to Bunraku, I did not expect it to have an outstanding twists and turns. Sakai's detailing gets better and better in each comics. I hope to see more stories like this.

Stan Sakai weaves a creepy climax while maintaining the family-friendly nature of the title. Excellent conclusion to the first arc.
