I truly can tell you don't catnap on this series!!! As a cat-dad and lover of all things animal. This book has me hooked! I know I'll submit a pic for the end pages, and maybe I'll see my cats there! Because what else is the internet for? Read Full Review
So the first major story arc is finished...and its done so in a way that maintains a very sharp and sweeping sense of adventure. Ferals great strength lies in maintaining a very real sense of earthbound drama to a group of slightly anthropomorphized cats. The ensemble of character and the overall setting of the series could lend itself to a great deal of potential for being QUITE long-running without the creative team having to resort to too much excess fantasy. At the cost of becoming a broken record, Feral is one of the most gut wrenching books you'll read, and yet the most impressive quality is how the series is able to convey a sense of warmth and hope amidst all of the death and chaos. Read Full Review
Forstner and Rodriguez deliver some beautifully intense and entertaining art throughout the issue. I love how the visual style feels like animation while it tells an intense and deeply serious, emotional story. Read Full Review
Really good book. Has a "Rats of Nimh" vibe, or maybe "All Dogs Go to Heaven". The Disney style art is really good, the writing is solid, the plot isn't overly complicated but it succeeds in being an effective horror/cute clash. The page with the batnado was really cool. Hope it doesn't take long for the next arc to start up.
Once again, nothing wild, but it's a fun read. A lot of it is just cats running and talking.
