Gehenna: Naked Aggression #1 is a blood-soaked, high-octane thrill ride that lives and dies by its visuals, and it absolutely lives. Gehenna: Naked Aggression #1 is an entertaining debut that delivers exactly what you'd expect and want. It's nothing more than an action packed revenge tale and that's completely ok, it's a mainstay genre for a reason. It delivers action. It delivers quippy moments. Its fun for the first issue anyway. Whether or not its going to remain so throughout the final three quarters of the story is going to depend on whether Kindlon an Rosenzweig are going to be able to maintain the momentum in interesting ways that dont feel particularly repetitious. In an age of drab fluff comics that are painting by numbers , Geheena stands completely apart from the crowd. Fast paced , sexy , violent , disturbing and above all completely compelling. The visuals alone are worth your hard earned but the story stands head and shoulders above even that. I heard every word like it was live action and at the end I was cursing that there wasn't more. Outstanding start to hopefully something long lasting.......

Amazing cartooning. Fast paced action, easy to follow and satisfying.
This was a far shot and in general it had some good elements. Like the pace is nice and easy to read but I couldn't get myself through the art style and I couldn't connect to the story or with the characters. Which is in my opinion a must in a first issue...
