Writer Rodney Barnes has a number of subplots rolling but they all progress and the issue basically ends where it starts. A big battle and Jefferson's slow march to Washington as he's burdened by the state of America he knew and the modern one with torch waving clowns and domestic terrorists storming the Capitol wearing a buffalo cowl. Regardless of how clunky the analogy reads, artist Jason Shawn Alexander's work gives the issue its energy and adrenaline rush. Read Full Review
I never heard of Anansi, the African spider god until now (do a wiki search on this, you will be VERY surprised at what you read). Barnes and Alexander are hitting all points with this series. I am pleasantly surprised with every issue.
