    The thing I really like about Magdalena is that it has a strong, hard headed main female character that can kick major but. Only into the second issue and it is already obvious that there will be more to the story than just Patience kicking butt and taking names. I found myself completely sucked into this story, and I cannot wait for issue #3. If you like adventure and stories that are influenced by theology, be sure to pick this up. Read Full Review

    I can't say that I would ever think to buy Magdalena if it weren't for the fact that Top Cow was nice enough to share it with me. Now that we are two issues in, I'm pretty sure I would buy it now. While I would like to see more plot in this issue and more backgrounds in the art, this is really solid comic featuring some strong craftsmanship and a lot of potential. I could have easily missed this comic but that doesn't mean you should. I don't think you'd regret buying this comic at all. Read Full Review
