Feb 05, 2026Writer Doug Wagner and artist Daniel Hillyard are back in the Plastic-verse once again with their latest killer serial, ‘Narco’, from Image Comics. But this time, they’re focusing on a fan of these murderers and a narcoleptic, too. And it’s not too long until this particualr medical condition gets Marcus into trouble in this gripping, Hitchock-inspired new series. Read Full Review

Mar 04, 2026on Narco #1 Narco #1 is a mysterious, thought-provoking story. Serial killers, Pop-Tarts, dating, and more. There was so much going on, yet it seemed so simple. All with a giant mystery that I can’t wait to uncover. The nod to my personal favorite fictional serial killer was just the extra sprinkles on a peppermint milkshake. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff
Mar 04, 2026The emotional end of the thriller is firmly established. The nuts and bolts of the mystery and all of the details that are going to evolve overtime feel like they have a firm footing. It's really just a matter of making sure that the pacing continues to move as firmly as it does and the first issue. The precise layout of the scenes in the first issue seem to suggest a very crisp and tight sense of delivery on all of the basic elements of the story. A very promising opening for a really interesting series. Read Full Review

Comic Book Clique - Prub Gill
Mar 10, 2026This leaves me excited because Wagner was able to turn me into a crime sleuth, asking questions of the characters and trying to get to the bottom of their actions and motivations. Also, it made me question how the characters are being represented to me, resulting in me as a reader being totally engaged and invested throughout Narco #1. Read Full Review

Mar 04, 2026Narco #1 is an engaging first chapter in a story made so by its purposeful lack of expository information. With charming characters as its backbone and a simple, yet effective art style, this issue was surprisingly cozy read that I implore readers to check out while they can. Read Full Review

The intro of this series is gives you more story than this first issue as a whole... which is kinda dissapointing tbh... The read itself, the story and art quality is good and overall fun. The hype is what it is.
