This series is yet to disappoint and even with more artistic changes up ahead, I think Graham will be able to hold it all together. Theres a lot to enjoy in this issue, with some classic sci-fi aspects, but also plenty to make this comic feel fresh and imaginative. Prophet is not for everyone. This is a far cry from what people will think of when they think about the words" Rob Liefeld's Extreme Studios" but that's what so perfect about it. The willingness to take a chance and allow this kind of work to sit on the same shelves that are inundated with spandex and cheesecake and zombies each week should be applauded. This book is for the kinds of people that don't want the main premise explained succinctly in the title of the book. It's for the kinds of people that would rather read than watch TV. The art by Farel Dalrymple suits the script well. Dalrymple has a difficult task, creating a truly alien world and he excels at it. This world is visually engaging in its foreign nature and Dalrymple does a good job of keeping the narrative flowing when the internal monologue of Prophet isn't fleshing the story out. Dalrymple definitely suits this title well and would be a great long term artist on this book. Read Full Review
