SAM AND TWITCH CASE FILES #6 ratchets up the simmering sense of paranoia and danger as Twitch realizes the corruption in Plainfield covers for a serial killer, and he either needs to join in or become its next victim. McFarlane and Goff successfully build an atmosphere of tension tight enough to pop, and Kudranski's grounded art suits the story perfectly. That said, the details of the how and why of the conspiracy are still a complete mystery, so the series has abandoned intrigue in favor of frustration. Read Full Review
Special mention to Szymon for outstanding art and story telling. A world class artist like this can tell the whole story without the need for words. Truely exceptional. The actual script and dialogue helped keep the tension up through every panel. Great job guys JM
I loved it, it's the best number so far. We finally see what Sam Burke has been up to all this time. The tension in the town increases. Twitch is in deep trouble. the corrupt cop needs detective Twitch to find the serial killer, as he is obsessed with cleaning his town of criminals. Twitch doesn't want to join the group of corrupt cops, which makes him a target. Detective Twitch is the target of corrupt cop Jim and serial killer. The plot progresses and is super interesting. There is only one more issue left to finish this arc. The next arc begins a new story with another writer and another artist.
