As Reaper and She-Spawn fight for their lives against the Hellhounds, Spawn is forced into the public spotlight in order to stop a strange new villain that's rampaging through New York City. Can Al Simmons continue to convince the world he's a "normal" hero, or will his dark side come to light?
Still, something else comes to the surface as well: Al might not know everything. It is a simple fact, but because of its simplicity, even more critical. The main character's viewpoint is just that: a viewpoint. Nothing more, nothing less. The last words of the issue come from Mark Rosen, who has played a key role for quite some time now. His intricate knowledge of the characters in this world are refreshing, and I can't wait to read more. Read Full Review
Alexander offers some great art in this issue and the tone is slightly more subdued because the story is more character intensive. Alexander uses texture brilliantly to emphasize and blend in the darkness to every panel. Read Full Review
Spawn #304 is a grand exploration of the new world that Spawn is building piece by piece, quite literally. However, the narrative finds itself slowing down in part three as it attempts to set up the coming confrontation between all the new rising forces. Read Full Review
The wheels spin on the actual narrative in this issue as McFarlane gets the pieces in place for what will surely be an explosive final issue of the "Hell Hunt" arc, but for now, lots of standing and talking. Read Full Review
