It's picking up a little. It's clunky, but that clunkiness comes off as enjoyably strange rather than off-putting. The characters and story are bland, but the world and the visuals are strong.
Four issues in and I'm slightly concerned as the art in panels was nowhere as strong as in the first couple of issues and the dialogue is starting to become a little tepid already. The problem with telling people at the start it only has 25 to 30 issues is seriously off putting to me as I like to believe it's an ongoing series that has no intended destination as of yet. This then would probably work better as a mini series here and there.....JM
