With the recent addition of the trillion dollar kid, these stories are being taken to another level, and I’m here for it. An innocent meeting between these different Ghost Machine worlds has opened the door for so much more chaos. Jul 15, 2026Hornsby & Halo and The Rocketfellers had a few delays that stalled the series’ momentum, but the Unbelievables arc seems to have reinvigorated the creative teams making for a very easy and worthwhile jumping on point for new readers. Plot
The Trillion Dollar Kid, Zach, Rose, and Sterling visit the Rocketfellers just as they're singing "Happy Birthday" to Rachel, a bittersweet moment because Roland, Rae, Richie, Rodney, and Raina are still grieving Roland's tragic disappearance. Tommy tries to explain that he needs their help to find his parents and reveals that he knows the Rocketfellers are Unbelievable, which stresses everyone out and raises the tension.
Sterlington's presence makes Rodney suspicious, and he starts fighting the robot with the help of Richie and the dog Rex. Zach and Rose activate their powers, but the battle calms down when Tommy intervenes and asks them to remain calm.
Rachel sees a photo of Tommy's parents and recognizes them. more+ Like • Comment -

While I was initially very annoyed to learn that Hornsby and Halo was heading into a multi series comic event, I decided to buy the tie-in series for kindle rather than just sit the event out completely.
So far this story has been okay. But I really don’t plan on buying Trillion Dollar Kid or Rocketfellers once this is done.
I just really hope Ghost Machine doesn’t plan anymore crossovers. Because then I would have to strongly consider dropping Hornsby and Halo, and that would be quite disappointing.
