    cxPulp - Blake Petit May 31, 2011

It's how this book goes " every time we get comfortable in one status quo, something happens to shake it up. The good thing is that he never shakes it up in a way you would expect. The end of the issue, of course, is as chilling and powerful as we've come to expect. Nothing and nobody in this book is safe, and that makes it one of the few comic books in publication we can legitimately say that about. Read Full Review

So why not five bullets? Why does an amazing book such as this not get a 100%? Because its not long enough. I want more, I crave more, and if I dont get extra, Im not satisfied. It is clearly an emotional time for our characters, and I can't wait to see where things go from here. Read Full Review

Weekly Comic Book Review - Dean Stell May 25, 2011

A really good quiet issue that shows Kirkman's characters dealing with the aftermath of the huge zombie battle of last issue and making plans to rebuild their community. The slow burn to the next climax has begun! Read Full Review

    IGN - Jesse Schedeen May 25, 2011

Issue #85 is a slow affair, and the general plot doesn't scoot along as rapidly as it tends to do in each new installment of The Walking Dead. But Kirkman still delivers some well-written scenes that fans will enjoy, and the hope is that the series will quickly heat up again as the characters seek their next course of action. Kirkman gives another deep and deliberate read. While this issue is a slow down one, it still delivers an entertaining read that contains laughs, tears and some interesting plot developments. You can't go wrong with this title. Read Full Review
