With one more issue left of this incredible miniseries, Universal Monsters Creature from the Black Lagoon Lives! Issue #3 lives up to the extensive legacy of the original iconic film. As Dan, Ram, and Matthew take the series in fascinating directions, they always retain the core identity of what makes the film work so well. A wild ending I did not expect. We'll find out if it's worth it. It could be dumb, but I have faith in the creative team.

Is there even a story here? Two writers and no story. It's incredible. We have no idea what the connection is between the creature and the girl. Now the serial killer is sewing pieces of the creature onto himself? I literally have no idea what's going on. Thankfully there is only one issue left. What a waste of a good IP.
