VOID RIVALS #19 takes a puzzling pause from the action on the Sacred Ring for an all-Skuxxoid issue to explain where he comes from. Robert Kirkman's lighthearted (not jokey) script is amusing, but it puts the brakes on the Unification arc in a big way. On the other hand, Conor Hughes does a bang-up job as the guest artist with a cleaner, more polished delivery. Read Full Review
The truth behind the bounty hunter is unveiled in a stand-alone chapter. Kirkman throws many elements in place with the writing. Hughes brings some impressive images to the forefront. Void Rivals #19 took the risk of dedicating the entire issue to Skuxxoid and it is a reminder that not all risk pay off. That is not to say this wasn't a good issue. Robert Kirkman and Conor Hughes do all they can to present Skuxxoid as a character that can drive a story. Read Full Review
