You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff Aug 27, 2025

The series rolls through its penultimate issue with a casual grace that feels truly inspired. Its remarkable how much emotion can rest in the very casual movements of people who try to show as little emotion as possible. Its great fun...but theres no reason why it SHOULD be apart from theweirdness of some of the situations that Rosenberg is bringing to the page. It all works so well, though. Read Full Review

The pen-ultimate chapter puts Annalise in a new direction with her new stat quo. Rosenbergs writing brings out the dysfunctional spy-fi worlds charm. Landini and Wordie construct an impressive look inside the chaos surrounding Annalise and her family. Theres no telling what to expect with the arc finale forthcoming. Read Full Review

Landini delivers some beautiful visuals throughout the issue. I love the art style of this series and how it captures the tone of the story. Read Full Review

We're Taking Everyone Down With Us #5 is another great issue in a series that has delivered with every one. It's a comic that is exciting to read as you never know what's going on next, what will be revealed, and what site gags await. It's fun in every way and hopefully fun we'll be seeing more of in the future. Read Full Review

Imo this series goes toe to toe with Absolute batman, Ultimate Spiderman, Transformers and all the other big boys. It's amazes me to see how undervalued it currently is and how many people are not giving it the praise it actually deserves. It's clear to see that everyone who reads is, is an absolute fan though (pun).

The crazy part is, its even getting better...! Can't wait for the final issue.

I've really been enjoying this series. Sci-fi, spycraft and sarcasm make a great mix. The best part about it are the characters, so much comedy gold from the various supporting cast. Part of me really wants to see this made into a movie, but the other part has no confidence the right people would be put in charge of making it and it would be terrible.
