As a fan of the action adventure filled brand of comics I can say Flash Gordon hasn't disappointed at all. This issue alone is a great way of showing why Flash knows he can never trust Ming, who was ready to abandon him without hesitation. As all the issues before, this issue ended off only leaving us waiting for more. Adams has definitely made a name for himself in the comic world of late with his work. Huge action and a predictable betrayal in this issue! The fight scene in this issue is so much fun to read. Ming's background... well you can respect his ruthlessness but man he is a terrible hateful person. A character you can really love to hate. Jeremy Adams is doing everything right with Flash. A terrible deal is struck out of necessity, the action, the wonderful art by Conrad, like I love this so far. Adams is knocking it out of the ballpark.

This should have been the first issue. Why start with Flash's rather boring imprisonment, when you can reintroduce him in media's res, fighting in an arena?
