The escape! Flash Gordon, Ming, and Daranek battle their way through Planet Death. Each fallen enemy brings them one step closer to their goal: a ride off this dismal world. The thrilling fourth issue in the hit ongoing series!
FLASH GORDON #4 is another winning chapter in the modern homage to classic pulp sci-fi action adventure storytelling. Another amazing issue. Adams has definitely reinvented Flash Gordon for the 21st century. Every issue is full of great action and storytelling and Conrad's art is just spectacular.
This issue succeeds once more at leaving us on the edge of our seats and in anticipation for the next. This series has quickly become one of the comics I look most forward to getting today. As said before, I can't wait for the next issue. This is the kind of series that makes you sure that whatever happens next will be truly exciting.
Ok learning that Ming even named units of measurement after himself aka 'Mingnaut' I laughed so hard. That is some fun in character writing.
This chapter had a lot of Ming in it. That being said, Flash shows off his really impressive flight skills in the first half. Gordon just being a boss like always. Ming... well Ming kind of gets his even if Gordon has to rise to the occasion again to save him. I look forward to the next issue.
This reads great in a floppy but probably even better in trades!
Art is nice like always. Conrad and Adams are doing a great job.
