FLASH GORDON #2 delivers a super strong pulp adventure when Flash continues his bid to escape Planet Death. Jeremy Adams's tale evokes all the classic elements of a pulp serial adventure, and Will Conrad's detailed art is fantastically fantastic. Read Full Review

So far I've been very impressed by this new series. It only seems to get better as it progresses with every issue. Here we have Flash having to rely on his worst enemy to escape this prison world. Anyone who knows the least bit about Flash Gordon should know there's no one you can trust less than Ming the Merciless. After all, he wasn't just given that name by the press. He earned it by his cruelty. There's no one a guy like that wouldn't turn on to benefit himself. And if he hates them he'll enjoy it too. And he hates NO ONE as much as Flash Gordon.
Adams does so well delivering on action and excitement. And this issue proves he knows how to bring out the villainy in Ming, proving why he's been known as one of Science Fiction's greate more

Jeremy Adams takes a classic concept, forcing enemies to work together (and you know Ming is going to try to betray Flash every chance he gets), and does it really well. We are getting some nice drips of early subplots or later plots. Honestly this issue does pretty much everything you would want. I have very little to critique about it. Maybe a page or two more of action but otherwise its near perfect.

Conrad's art is great. I enjoy the detail and it feels like it fits Flash so so well.

This is ramping up and I love it.
