It read more like a Dr Strange book featuring Beast than an X-Men one

I thought the last issue was a great change of pace so I was excited to see where they went. Turns out Scott's near death was saved by a last minute interaction with Pickles. We now shift gears and have a moment where Beast doubts science. The problem other than ignoring the issue brought before is why is he doubting science now? There are so many ways to travel time in the Marvel Universe and it is not like they are trying hard to do so. I thought they had settled in to this life because of that. Now I am told they are desperate to get home and the fact that science can not do it he is going to extreme measures. Is it that extreme? He has fought along side Magik. I would think he would be somewhat accepting of magic at this point. I love more
