Wow... The level of drama and tension... I believe this story was way ahead of its time... The stakes are too high. Well deserved 10/10. And it's not even the end of the story! Everything's just great here. The way Peter cares for his aunt, the way he uses his old enemies to help him... He also demonstrates some never seen before power and it works as a pretty cool way to show how angry he was then.
While last issue mostly focused on the setting up the new characters and status quo, this issue is an all out action issue. It's one of the first times we see just how powerful Spider-Man can be. He's desperate, and he needs that Iso-36 to save his aunt. As Peter, he's angry, lashing out at Betty and Ned. As Spider-Man, he's tearing the underground to shreds, and even manhandles Doc Ock with relative ease. He's reckless, and it culminates in him trapping himself in an inescapable position, having truly failed. It's a great issue, honest.
Quote of the issue: "Just Now-- When it Counted Most-- I've Failed!"
Slam bang issue that culminates in a great cliffhanger. I love Ditko art in this. Peter looks absolutely horror movie monster mad in this. Great stuff.

This is the first reference to Peter's blood being radioactive, which ties to the cause of MJ's death in the Reign limited series.
