Wow, it's even more, than perfect. I would give it 20/10 if I could. Really-really good comic and it doesn't really feel like it's from 1966...
Deserves all the recognition the book received through the years. I remember the picture since my time as a youngster in the 70’s and 80’s. To finally read the issue and see the art lives up to it all. Great stuff.
Literally amazing.
This is a seminal issue of Spider-Man for the beginning, and it deserves to be! It's just such a great moment, and if you're truly invested in it, it'll give you chills. The rest of the issue continues the trend of last issue. Peter is desperate and fighting against all odds to save his Aunt. We see by the end that he's truly changed by the experience, to the chagrin of Betty, finally closing that chapter of their relationship. The art here is spectacular. The beginning of this issue deserves to be a large print on the wall of any nerd. This was great, and it felt like a finale in a way. I'm hopeful for next issue's Kraven centric story, but I'm not sure it can stand up against the shadow of an issue like this.
