This is an interesting story that extends a few plotsintroduced before, while introducing new conflicts. The story was not complex,but then it seems like a stepping-stone for much more to come. Its intriguingenough for me to come by next week. Read Full Review
The book does earn a few points for featuring art by John Romita, Jr. As one of the few quintessential Spider-Man artists, any Amazing issue by him automatically feels familiar and engaging. The art, however, can't save a mostly dull script. "Character Assassination" isn't a miserable failure, but it hasn't started off with a bang on par with "New Ways To Die." Read Full Review
This is a good start to a potentially interesting arc, but I'd like to see more depth with these characters. It's hard to enjoyPeter's brand new world where he knows so many people, but no one knows him and who he is. Previous arcs before BND were dramatic stories about life, death, and meaning; however these themes can't be explored within Peter's current environment.
