Overall, this is an uneven installment of a series that still hasn't yet been able to find its legs. Read Full Review

It is not a stand-alone issue, and you may need to read some of the back issues if you are not up to speed; however, the character dialogue alone makes The Slingers Return Ben Reilly Scarlet Sider (2017) #11, definitely worth picking up. Right now, the long shot speculation for me are, issues #9-11. Issue #9 is on my radar because it has what I believe to be the first appearance of Misty Beck, Daughter of Mysterio who has powers apparently which were fully revealed in Issue #10 she. For issue #10 it just so happens that there is a Retailer Variant Cover by Brent Schoonover Read Full Review

Ben has a repetitive chat with Death, the Slingers decide to stick the Scarlet Spider on their enemies list, and Cassandra slides into the middle of the conflict just after (mostly) figuring out Ben's secret identity. The plot is sauntering casually in a cool direction, but at this pace it'll take ages to finish. André Lima Araújo is the issue's guest artist. Even though I've acquired a taste for his distinctive (or dumpy, if you're a hater) art, I believe it makes a generally poor choice for fill-in work and in this title it's an especially bad fit.
