It is not a stand-alone issue, and you may need to read some of the back issues if you are not up to speed; however, the character dialogue alone makes The Slingers Return Ben Reilly Scarlet Sider (2017) #11, definitely worth picking up. Right now, the long shot speculation for me are, issues #9-11. Ben has a repetitive chat with Death, the Slingers decide to stick the Scarlet Spider on their enemies list, and Cassandra slides into the middle of the conflict just after (mostly) figuring out Ben's secret identity. The plot is sauntering casually in a cool direction, but at this pace it'll take ages to finish. André Lima Araújo is the issue's guest artist. Even though I've acquired a taste for his distinctive (or dumpy, if you're a hater) art, I believe it makes a generally poor choice for fill-in work and in this title it's an especially bad fit.
