    What Phillips and company are putting to the page isn't exactly going to be the easiest thing for most people to follow if they're not entirely familiar with the characters of Gene Gray, and Carol Danvers. Phillips has a pretty good job of. Speaking to the universals of the situation in a way that just about any reader could pick up, though. Wouldn't even necessarily need to be familiar with the first issue to be able to understand what's going on in this one. Phillips and Company have captured a very powerful dynamic. That has the page in a very clever way with a particularly powerful cliffhanger at issues end. Read Full Review

    Carol Danvers has done her best. But it doesn't feel like it's enough. Her efforts are a drop in a bucket compared with what she promised Jean Grey she would do. But while Carol acts out of compassion for the townspeople and the Babels, another woman exploits Carols self-doubt and guilt to expand her power base in Binary #2. Read Full Review

    Binary #2 is a solid story with visually striking art and a strong thematic throughline for both the characters and future issues to follow. If you picked up last months Binary #1, then I recommend counting the story with Novembers Binary #2. Read Full Review
