Jefferson said the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. But who is a patriot and who is a tyrant? Is it all in the eye of the beholder? Captain America has the answer as the Cap from the 50s strikes back in TWO AMERICAS Part 2 of 4. Rated T
This was a pretty good comic. The story is moving along at a brisk pace, and we now know what Bad Cap's plan is(creating a mega-powerful Vibranium bomb). This was definitely a set-up issue, but it does a good job of making Bad Cap and his Watchdogs look very strong, setting up for what should be an explosive confrontation between Bad Cap and Bucky down the road. Needless to say, I'm thrilled to have this series back. It returns Captain America to what truly made the series such a compelling read each and every month before Reborn. There's also a Nomad backup feature in this issue that, while strikingly different in tone from the main feature, deals with the Secret Empire and is well worth the extra dollar. Read Full Review
Two Americas is the type of storyline that is perfectly suited for Captain America, especially in this day and ages contentious political climate. Its relevant and insightful, if not too terribly subtle. Its the type of story that we should expect thematically from this book. Read Full Review

On the whole, though, the book didn't quite wow me. Not even another "Nomad" back-up story by Sean McKeever and David Baldeon managed to stand out (although I don't remember Baldeon drawing characters with such large heads before); this is in many ways an absolute middle of the road book. Still, I'll take that over a bad or disappointing one any day of the week. But I do hope that next month's "Captain America" has a little more of a spark to it. Read Full Review

Definitely an issue that sets up bigger things for the next to issue but Ross’ art is perfect for the Idaho setting and Brubaker writes Bad Cap pretty well considering his extremely confusing origins.
