Captain America and Namor battle the Thule Society during WWII! The Thule unleash the Kraken -- a weapon of Atlantean origin and ungodly power. And Namor encounters a clandestine society. But are they friend or foe?
There is a nice ending that sets up stories to follow, gives the heroes a major new threat to deal with down the road and I am interested in seeing where they go with the story, if they continue it. A job well done by the creative team and a good one-shot issue for new readers to enjoy, what else could you ask for? Read Full Review
"Captain America and Namor" #635.1 is a jumping on point that will quickly allow the reader to also jump off. When dipping back into a title, readers want to see something new, but this book seems to only accomplish exactly what came before it. It's such a shame that two great characters are used to merely fight a foe, play to their clichs and then wait to repeat the cycle. That's not what comics needs either now or in the future.
