But Why Tho? - William Tucker

    Mar 18, 2026

Cyclops Issue 2 highlights a hardened hero. It’s easy to view Scott Summers as a lanky leader who only attacks from afar. Paknadel instead cements him as a capable, tough, and dangerous soldier with decades of action and fighting in his veins. Read Full Review

    KPB Comics - A.S Tiger

    Mar 18, 2026

Cyclops #2 is a well-paced read that balances character introductions and new dynamics being forged with action and plot progression. Paknadel sets a gritty tone for the series, and while the art stumbles in some places, the issue sets up for even better things to come. Read Full Review

I ask one big question with this series - Why does this need to exist? We dive back into a series full of just eye rolling garbage. The overall premise isn't bad. In fact I like it. How it's being executed however by Alex Paknadel is the issue. The Reavers are hunting Mei who escaped from their mining facility. Cyclops was shot down while traveling and is hurt and without his visor. They linked up and here we are... stuck with just stuff crammed together. Mei has super strength but cannot work when shes afraid... due to cortisol levels... but cortisol is managed by stress. so none of this makes sense. she was able to work while a captive and wasn't afraid or stressed ? How about Cyclops says he trained for being in the woods blindfolde more
