Compare Vedova Nera, ex fiamma di Murdock. Lui gli chiede di tenere il bambino mentre è intento a svolgere delle indagini sul neonato e sulle strani morti di bambini appena dati alla luce. Compare un vecchio, racconta una storia assurda a Murdock, affermando che il bambino è il male, colui che porterà la terra verso l'apocalisse e, chi lo dovesse accudire dovrà affrontare tragedie. Detto fatto: torna Karen Page e rivela al rosso che è affetta da HIV.
