It's clearly a Daredevil retcon with Punisher as a supporting character. It's not bad, but Murdock's absurd moralism is annoying! It's like Travis from Taxi Driver trying to clean the streets of scum, and a superhero stopping him so things can be resolved legally, when in reality pedophiles, rapists, murderers, etc., should be killed with a shot to the head (which unfortunately is done to people like Charlie Kirk, who don't deserve such punishment), regardless of race or ethnicity. If Marvel wants to reclaim the universe created by Garth Ennis, honoring it, it should stop and consider whether the modifications used to attract new readers will actually be convincing enough for the story to be well told, respecting what has been established. more
