The series takes a wide detour with its involvement in the Inhumans and X-Men war. Most of the cast are pushed to the sidelines to bring Negasonic Teenage Warhead into the position of main antagonist. The story tries to tell a story as to how important the war is because things can get worst, but the story lacks any real stakes. It shows that the conclusion of the war is the best case scenario. We know this will not interfere or this would be part of the main story. The plot we are meant to buy into also seems to be less thought out. The reason that the X-Men are so desperately protecting Negasonic and the Inhumans are trying to kill her are questionable. Her powers seem to be capable of altering the past yet she cannot fix the current future. I am ready for the series to move on from its involvement since the art is still good and the writing has its strong points. Hopefully the next crossover in the 'Till Death Do Us...' story is better. more
