After having a miscarriage, Sue is sidelined and destroys one of the rooms in a bout of anger. She calms Franklin, who is frightened by his mother's outburst. Meanwhile, the others take on a villain called Terminus, who is a lesser version of Galactus and starts to eat at the Earth. Reed figures out a way to use his power against him and is buried in the core of the Earth. I love how Byrne uses Reed's mind to beat most of these villains. Johnny feels himself being attracted to Alicia. Sue is distraught over being sidelined by Reed & the loss of her child. Reed must figure out a way to stop Galactus wannabe Terminus from destroying the Earth for its natural resources. (Cover date: September, 1984)
