Im not very fond of the Fantastic Four as a concept. It just never worked for me, and I must confess Ive only been picking up the title for the Civil War tie-ins. Whilst previous issues have been all about personal morals and values, this is just pure unadulterated fun. I want to see more of Les Hros de Paris. I want to see Ben stick around for a while. I want Reed and Sue Richards booted off the FF for being boring and annoying. This issue is a real gem and exceeded my expectations by so much that it passed into a whole other category. Even if you dont read Fantastic Four, even if youre not following Civil War, pick this up. If you dont like it, feel free to berate me. If you love it, let me know. Read Full Review

Fantastic Four #541 is definitely an issue you don't need to waste your money on. You won't be missing anything. Next up is JMS' last issue. I'll be interested to see if he can deliver a quality read in his final issue on this title. Read Full Review
