One thing this series is going to do is provide the heartfelt family moments, and this issue has them in loads. Ryan North really captures the heart of the Fantastic Four and what makes each of them unique. While not as action packed as the previous Invincible Woman story arc, it feels like a fresh batch of hope after the Fantastic Four looked down the barrel of certain destruction. I will always be a fan of any story that gives me more of the beautiful relationship between Ben and Alicia. Read Full Review

    Fanlight Zone - Ken M.

Who knows what the future holds for Marvel’s First Family? The answer may surprise as a new beginning starts for the FF! North lets one character reassure everyone why they are the heart and soul of the MCU. The art team shines in bringing out the best of this character. This run has been nothing short of exceptional, perfectly fitting for the World’s greatest comic magazine! Read Full Review

The story's lovely as we see a new aspect of Ben Grimm's character. The Stan Sakai backup story (featuring the Mole Man) is a fun romp in Subterranea. Read Full Review

Fantastic Four #11 is a serious hiccup in what has been a very high quality series. The creation of the Future Foundation has not done recent Fantastic Four issues any favors. North clearly has a destination in mind, but the last two issues have suffered for it. Character development has been a major part of North’s run, and this is the first time that he has depicted any of them inconsistently. Hopefully this need to establish the Future Foundation will soon give way to the series’ usual top tier storytelling. Read Full Review

    Plot
Sue, Reed, Johnny, and Ben try to decipher the new version of the Future Foundation that S.H.I.E.L.D. and Maria Hill are creating, after discovering that the Invincible woman is trapped with a device that uses her own energy to keep her in suspended animation.

The Fantastic Four can't seem to get their act together, and in a battle against the forgettable villain Monocle Man, who uses a Doctor Doom weapon called the Emotion Charger, the four are out of sync and their teamwork is disrupted. Doom's weapons are being sold on the black market, something the Fantastic Four have to address.

Ben comes up with the idea that the Future Foundation should be an organization that invites everyone to join, not just a small gro more

    Astonishingly Awful

The guest art is so bad, it almost makes Humberto Ramos look like Leonardo DaVinci. And the story is just a big nothingburger. I won’t even mention the “indie” (actually, horribly drawn) backup story.
