Guardians of the Galaxy has a kind of standard issue here where a lot of things are going on but little seems to really happen. I hate the accelerated rate of release because funds are not infinite, but there's some real fun to be had here overall even if it is light. While I enjoy the writing and the humor, mostly because of the characters, the book gets a solid bump for Schiti's artwork as it's just fantastic and fun here. There's a lot of detail to it with the settings and layouts, but it doesn't make the characters feel overly complex. They're almost simple in a sense, but more that they're done in such a clean and dynamic way that I just enjoy the movement of it all along with the positioning that we get in how they interact. A solid issue that will likely factor in better when the arc is read in full. Read Full Review
You really cant complain about Guardians of the Galaxy. Many of the things that haunt Bendis, like slow-moving plots, and over-lapping dialogue are non-existent in this series so far. The art has been superb and has looked electric. This issue was action packed and should be a good read for anyone who buys it. Read Full Review

It's a series that often trades its own subtle flavors for perpetual motion, but it has all the necessary component parts if it would just slow down for a minute. Read Full Review
I obviously cannot read everything that Marvel is releasing, but it seems there are not many titles, if any, that continue a story that was explored in Secret Wars. This one does. A Kree warrior looking for revenge in Guardians of Knowhere continues to seek revenge by destroying Spartax as Peter Quill is forced to watch. The Guardians struggle to stop her. The new team line-up is forced to find a way to work as a team. The work put in to make this one of Marvel's stronger titles shows.
