This is a great comic for new Guardians of the Galaxy fans, as it's a one-shot; you don't need to have read much of the series to know what's going on or how the team operates. It's a fun way to see the Guardians on just another status quo adventure. And with the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, the hype is all around this hilarious group of heroes. Whether you're a diehard Guardians fan or not, you're going to love this issue. Read Full Review
It's entirely possible that this comic will hold more significance who have actually experienced the ride and crave a souvenir of the experience. But on its own merits, this reads like a pretty run-of-the-mill Guardians comic. Read Full Review
By the extremely limited standards of what it is, a piece of Disney memorabilia, this is a successful comic. It will amuse 10-year-old MCU fans on their way to or from the associated Disney World ride. The fact that Marvel or your LCS will sell you a copy for $5 is a little embarrassing, but you can easily avoid that by just not buying the thing. I hope the creators are happy with their paychecks, because their lackluster work certainly isn't going to pay any dividends in the form of critical acclaim.
