Immortal Thor #24 is the sort of tale that leaves you buzzing, breathless, and desperate for more. The Mead of Poetry may be a myth, but I still suspect Al Ewing may have had some. Read Full Review
Immortal Thor #24 has the god of thunder face off against the might of the elder gods of Utgard. The art team really delivers this issue with the epic depiction of everything from the Utgard gods to Thor and his mighty powers in action. There are a few wrinkles in the comic, especially with the ending, but its still an enjoyable comic that concludes this storyline, or at least this part of it for now. Read Full Review
'Immortal Thor' #24 marks the penultimate issue of Al Ewing's tenure on this version of Thor, but not close to the last time he'll be writing the character. One issue left, it's still unclear how Ewing will reinvent Thor for his new renumbering who holds the hammer, if they are worthy, and what story he wants to tell. What's certain is this: he's taking the immortality out of the god. Read Full Review
Bazaldua did her best, but the book never recovered from losing Martin Coccolo. Hopefully Ewing's upcoming Thor book doesn't also get cannibalized by Wolverine.
