    This is what an event tie-in is supposed to do, get a reader interested and hyped enough to want to dive into the larger event. With a great creative team behind this and the continuation of the Tony and Emma "relationship, this is a must read. Read Full Review

    Iron & Frost #1 looks like a solid setup issue, one that has strong dramatic potential, a high-stakes world, and compelling character pairings. If the writing delivers on combining character drama with dystopian world stakes, it could be one of the better tie ins in this event.     Iron & Frost #1 offers an intriguing start to one of Age of Revelation's most talked-about pairings, using its action-heavy first chapter to tease a larger emotional and moral story beneath the surface. While it sometimes leans too hard on setup, the chemistry between Emma and Tony, and the promise of what's to come, make it worth reading. Read Full Review

    For fans of Emma Frost, the book leans into a brief period in her history specifically Gerry Duggans Invincible Iron Man run which saw Emma in a relationship with Iron man as well as the pair being members of the Hellfire Club. But while that is interesting and seems poised to give fans of the Emma/Tony pairing, Iron & Frost #1 feels like a pretty thin setup within an event that already relies on recycled ideas rather than anything especially new or interesting.
